What an unforgettable 9 days at MCL! Organisers are reporting a staggering 97,000 visitors through the doors at MCL 2025, this year’s show was one of the biggest and best yet, and we want to extend a massive thank you to every single one of you who took the time to stop by the Sorrymate stand.
Paul and Chris set off on Thursday 13th November to build and bring Sorrymate to MCL.

Whether you popped over to say hello, grabbed some legal advice, needed help with an ongoing claim, transferred your claim to us, chatted with the team about all things bikes, entered one of our many competitions, or made a generous donation to Merseyside & Cheshire Blood Bikes or the North West Air Ambulance, we truly appreciate you.
Sorrymate raised a fantastic £124.00 for the Merseyside & Cheshire Blood Bikes.
The total was over £500.00 for the North West Air Ambulance.

We hope you enjoyed your freebies too! Our stickers, keyrings pens and snoods went down a treat with the MCL crowd.

This year’s show was hugely successful for us, but more importantly, we were able to help a large number of riders who felt lost, confused, or left in the dark about the state of their claims with other solicitors. Being able to provide clarity, reassurance, and proper guidance is exactly why we attend events like MCL, and we’re glad so many of you trusted us to take a look.

The stars were present across the entire MCL show. Jenny Tinmouth (above right) came over to the Sorrymate stand and took a seat aboard out V4 SMIDSY sponsored Blood Bike.
We were also reminded again how many people assume Sorrymate is an insurance company, so it was brilliant to chat with those of you who didn’t realise what we actually do!
Once we explained who we are and how we help injured bikers, plenty of you took the opportunity to get proper advice on the spot.

If you collected a SMIDSY Card from the stand, don’t forget to create your account at smidsy.co.uk to activate your offers and discounts. It only takes a minute and unlocks all the benefits.
Guess The Mileage Competition
Our competition to Guess The Mileage of our classic Kawasaki GPZ 1000RX saw nearly 2500 entries across the show.

The total mileage was revealed on the final day of the show.
The 1987 Kawasaki had recorded was 4055.9 miles.
As nobody nailed the mileage exactly, we decided the winner should be the one with the closest guess.
We will be in touch to arrange delivery of the winners prize, 2 x BSB Tickets to any race day at any track our sponsored Race Team, 2StrokesRacing, are competing at.
CONGRATULATIONS to the lucky winner and thank you to everyone who had a go across the entire 9 days of MCL.
We saw so many different tactics across the show from people checking tyre manufacturer, stone chips to the bodywork, fork wear, exhaust condition and even people getting up close and personal with the bike looking underneath for signs of age, wear & tear and other possible identifiable factors.
The bike started so many conversations from people attending who had owned or still owned a GPZ. It was lovely to see some people reminisce about their times with their bike and what it meant to them.
From the entire Sorrymate team, thank you all so much for coming over to our stand and chatting all things bikes, getting legal advice, having a laugh with us and just enjoying the show as a community of bikers!
We have already booked on to MCL2026 and will see you all again at the NEC!
