Trail Biking Day Out For Sorrymate

We Don’t Just Work in the Biking World, We Live in It!

As bikers, we never stop learning.

Improving our skills keeps us safe on the roads.

Over the past few weeks, we have been doing what we do best and getting out on the bikes and having some fun which saw Louise land at the gates to the Sweet Lamb Adventure Bike Academy in Mid Wales.

Wanting to improve her bike handling and control was the aim of the game, and she certainly did that!

The day was all about stepping outside her comfort zone, which started fairly early on with a bike taller than she would prefer to ride. So the first lesson of the day was adjusting riding position to get a foot down.

From tackling loose surfaces (BIKE DROP FEAR!) and challenging terrain and sheep avoidance, to improving balance, braking and bike positioning, every exercise taught something valuable.

What really stood out for Louise was the knowledge and skill of the team there. Lead by Marl Molineux, a British Enduro and IMBA champion, the team gave excellent instruction, demonstrations and support. They didn’t even laugh when Louise fell off (twice).

Whether you are completely new to trail riding, or have years of experience under your braces, they create an environment where you can learn, make mistakes and improve without feeling intimidated.

One of the biggest takeaways for Louise was how many of the skills practiced off-road actually transfer directly to riding on the road.

Better observation, smoother control inputs, improved confidence and a greater understanding of what you and your bike is capable of can all help make you a safer rider.

The Important Bit.

It reminded Louise of exactly why she loves nothing better than getting on her bike. Spending a day on two wheels, challenging yourself, learning new skills and sharing that experience with other new trail bike riders is a feeling that’s hard to beat. The stunning scenery there also takes your breath away, and is a must do for anyone interested in taking their riding to the next level.

A massive thanks to all the team at Sweet Lamb Adventure Bikes for a brilliant day!

More Than Just a Law Firm.

We do not believe in being distant or unapproachable. Instead, we want to be part of the scene, part of the conversations, and part of the everyday experiences that come with being a biker.

Whether that is attending events, supporting ride outs, backing charities, or simply pulling up for a brew and a chat, we are there. Because of this, understanding riders does not come from behind a desk. It comes from being one.

Come and Say Hello This Season.

So, if you see us out and about this season, come and say hello. We are always up for a chat, whether it is about bikes, routes, gear, or just a shared love of riding.

At the end of the day, we are not just here when you need legal support. Instead, we are here because we are part of the same community. Sorrymate. Built by bikers for bikers.
