This month has seen our support for the Blood Bike groups growing with our sponsorship of Merseyside and Cheshire Bloodbike V4 for the next year. V4 (short for Vampire 4!) is one of the bikes used in the local area to ferry blood and medical supplies between hospitals and hospices, and the sponsorship helps to cover the annual running costs of the bike.
V4 is now proudly displaying his sponsorship and has even been renamed as SMIDSY for the coming year.
We’ll be getting regular updates on SMIDSY’s progress, helping to highlight the work done by Bloodbikes around the area.
As well as sponsoring the bike, our director Louise also volunteers as a controller for Merseyside and Cheshire BloodBikes which she enjoys enormously!
If you would like to find out more about volunteering for BloodBikes in your local area as either a controller, rider or even a fundraiser, please get in touch and we will be help you to find the contact for your local group.
Ride safe SMIDSY!
Charity work for Bloodbikes is a great opportunity to meet like minded bikers, and a great excuse to get out on your bike!
