Our Charity

Association of Air Ambulances Logosorrymate.com is fully committed to putting something back into our community.

We deliberated over many charities and after much thought and consultation with lots of bikers, we decided upon Air Ambulances.

These Helicopters save many lives each month, many of which are bikers like you and I. Over the years their skills have grown so that now they are considered in many areas a mobile Accident & Emergency Unit, able to perform many life saving skills at the scene of accidents and then transfer the patient to the most appropriate hospital.

Air Ambulance rescueIn the vast majority of instances, the quicker the patient can be transferred to a specialist hospital, the greater the chance they will have. Couple this together with the life saving skills, there is no faster and more efficient way to save somebody’s life following an horrific accident, especially in those areas where it is harder for ground vehicles to reach.

Air Ambulance Charities in the UK receive no funding at all from the government, or the National Lottery. It is therefore only by private funding and organising charitable events, that they are able to continue to provide the invaluable service they do.

sorrymate.com will be making a contribution with every non-fault accident claim we take on. The money will go to the Association of Air Ambulance Charities for them to split between all the Air Ambulance Charities nationwide. Without the support of people like us there would be no Air Ambulance.

sorrymate.com is currently looking to support another charity, and would ask for the opinions of as many bikers as possible. Please e-mail us  your suggestion to charity@sorrymate.com and we will enter you in a draw for BSB tickets to the venue of your choice.
